It was amazing to return to the corrupt and thrilling world where the policeman, psychologist and all around great family man, Alex Cross tries to solve insanely complex. homicide cases. Although often extremely violent and upsetting, dealing with the darkest sides of what crimes humans can commit, I love reading this series and the majority of the entries are highly addictive. I received an ARC of Kiss the Girls via NetGalley and I would like to thank James Patterson, Random House UK, Cornerstone and Arrow. Although this is a well-known classic thriller, first released in 1995, a new version with that strikingly awesome cover is being published on 29 June 2017. Kiss the Girls is the second outing featuring detective and psychologist Alex Cross and it follows on from the excellent Along Came A Spider. (more…)

Review of ~ James Patterson – Jack and Jill (Alex Cross #3)

“Jack and Jill” is the third story in Patterson’s gripping novels about police detective and psychologist, Dr. Alex Cross.

Here, we see Alex working on two of the most complex homicide cases of his already glittering career. Involving perhaps four or more different killers. Like the majority of the cases that Dr. Cross is assigned to, all involved seem to be complex and have peculiar, sometimes hidden motives. A number of the ensemble are working together to achieve their ultimate goals. (more…)
